I now live in Austin, TX and after our visit during lunch today, I have to say, Fogo de Chao - Austin was PHENOMENAL!
Could it have been because we arrived for an early lunch and all servers were tending to us or maybe it was slow due to the rainy weather we had today? Actually, I don't think it was either, because as I looked around the restaurant, every table was being treated as though it was the only table with patrons. I truly felt as though the servers were there to serve only us. Whether it was a simple hand gesture or comment, the staff promptly came over to see if we needed anything and were always ready to serve with a genuine smile! They were all so attentive that my friends and I commented that perhaps there were hidden microphones at the table. Every time we said we wanted to try something different, a server would magically appear before us!!!
During a brief conversation with one of the staff, I mentioned that we were there to celebrate my colleague's big promotion and that he had never experienced Fogo de Chao. At the end of our meal, we were delightfully surprised when a slice of the most delicious Chocolate Mousse Cake (with ‘Congratulations’ written on the plate….nice!) was delivered to our table! It was totally unexpected and pardon the pun, but it was 'the icing on the cake'!
I regret that I didn't get the names of all the servers/staff at Fogo de Chao Austin, but would like to thank them all for the Amazing Experience! That truly has been the BEST dining experience we’ve had in Austin! We will definitely be back for more!”
